Resumen:La asistencia de los recién nacidos de muy bajo peso en las unidades de cuidado intensivo neonatal (UCIN) es condición indispensable para su sobrevida, son embrago, crea situaciones desfavorables para su desarrollo neurológico y afectivo, dada la exposición a diversos estímulos dutante internaciones prolongadas y a la precoz separación de su grupo familiar. Por tal motivo, es necesario implementar programas de intervención temprana que estimulen y protejan al recién nacido y su familia. El objetivo de este estudio es demostrar la factibilidad del Programa de Contacto Piel a Piel madre-hijo prematuro.
